I was needing a second fermemter and a bottle sanitiser / drying rack to round out my kit and found a local guy on fleabay selling a bunch of stuff for a good price.

Amongst the goodies is around 8 cans of Coopers extracts of mixed flavours. Several have Best Before dates of 2010 and others no date but look of similar age. Is it worth trying one or have others had bad experiences with old extract??

Open one up if it smells ok then marinade some ribs in it, forget about making beer with it

Things in cans last a hell of a long time, note its a best before date therefore should not be "infected". Make a beer from a can, not me but add with "fresh" cans say in a RIS or toucan brew wouldn't hurt imo. (the marinade appears best)
Cheers
