Hi I am Rob from WA. Just purchased my first brew kit, the Coopers Brew kit from Big W. I am interested in making lagers which I have read require a cooler fermentation temperature than most ales. I have just also bought a second hand 'upside down' fridge that I am going to convert to a brew fridge.
I am looking forward to learning the craft and reading posts here over the next few months. Anyone with tips about what type of temp controller is best and where to buy are welcome to comment on my post. Also, I am thinking of getting a ceramic infrared light bulb to place under the fermenter for the winter months. Is this the way to go? If so I will need a two way temp controller I guess??
