Normandy Cider - Bottle dregs?

Had this one a few years ago. Screamed Brett, barnyard sweaty horse sack type deal on the nose, but the flavour was divine.

Anyone know if this has bottle dregs that can be cultured, or have they added sulfites to stop the yeast?

I have tried and there is a thread somewhere detailing my attempts. Search for 'funking up a cider'.

Best success I had was adding dregs to a fermented cider but no demonstrable success reculturing viable yeast.
Those cultures are likely more than one micro-organism in environmental balance in the cidery so home efforts are possibly going to throw the numbers out at best. Doesn't mean you shouldn't try.
