No More Emersons Ipa!

The Dan Murphys chain are no longer stocking my favourite beer! Their shop at Penrith was down to the last 3 bottles on new years eve and my wife bought the last 2 bottles at Castle Hill prior to Christmas! Does anyone know of another Sydney bottle shop that stocks this beer? IM DOWN TO MY LAST BOTTLE!

Also, as far as kit brews go, what would be your suggestions for something close to this style? Brew kit, fermentables, hops etc Ive tried the Muntons kit and have just put a Coopers down, both with a liquid malt extract. Im thinking what ever brew kit used it could benefit from some late aroma hopping?

Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

If your wife shopped at Castle Hill, get her to try Northmead Cellars, the Worldbeers shop. On Briens Road just by Windsor Road, pretty easy to find. They have a web site, www.worldbeers.com.au, but don't be too concerned if you can't find your beer on there, I've been in a few times and there are a number of beers on the shelf which aren't online.

Well worth a wander through, at a rough guess 200+ different beers there from around the world. Hope this helps.

Watch out for that london ale - it's a real "wedge" ie. some people love it (i do) and some absolutely hate the profile it leaves

I mentioned that yeast cause I tried to be the tight arsed brewer that I am and culture it from the bottle.

Having contacted the BA NZ site for an answer, that was the respone I received

I was at Dan Murphys Wentworthville yesterday and they had a few bottles on the shelf. I'd just blown a heap of money at Northmead cellars otherwise I would've bought them for myself.

They are a discontinued line at Dan Murphys so grab them whilst you can.
