hi very good site lots of good infomation
i have been brewing solidly for the paast 6 years off and on before that
would like to setup for all grain proply
am exprementing with partial brewing with good ones and some not so good
looking at cider as well

Welcome.
6yrs? Sheez you'll be giving us tips. What do you mean by 'partial brewing'? Using some malt extract kits (LME thats been bittered in cans) with steeped grain additions?

Hmmm yes, I think we've all had our fair share of 'not so good ones' - what do you put down as the biggest reason for these? Was it a recipe that you just got wrong? Or a mistake in the brewing process somewhere? Infections?

I'm definitely the former (just thinking I knew better than the recipe and substituting things in an attempt to use them us - and it through the whole recipe off balance). This was the dangerous period when I'd done a few brews and thought,"Ah this is easy" - and all the issues were self created. Simple is good and can be on par with very complicated brews if done well. IMHO anyway.

Anyway nice to have you touching in on our little convict brewing forum ;-)
