Happy New Year brewers!

I got a couple of cans for Christmas from the interstate family and I thought I'd ask around for some recipes that might suit Mangrove Jacks Classic Bitter. I got two cans of it and a Cooper's Lager. I've had a look online and I figured before I go Frankenstein I'll get some advice.

As a rule I like the Pales/Summer Ales and grew up with XXXX Bitter so the palate is open. I'm keen to try some new tricks, looking to get some recommendations with malt, hop and boil combinations where needed. Within reason of course.

Hope you can give me some suggestions.
Cheers
Sam

Not yet. Working on that now. Going to need it to brew now-end of Feb I reckon.

Those kits are likely pretty tame on the malt profile as they are likely in the ballpark of a VB or similar, maybe a bit more hop character. Bit boring probably.

You could do a two-can with the Mangroves and spice it up with some late hoping with a Saaz or similar variety.
