These look interesting. I need a second controller and can't be bothered wiring up another STC1000.

Looks good.
They would take away the issue of having to wire controllers up by unqualified sparkies and not be covered by your insurance

Would be good to see the manual for these. I wonder what increments you can adjust them to? If they are like the STC-1000 where they will switch within 0.2 degrees of your set temperature I would be interested.

They are back on EvilBay @ $49.99 plus delivery.

Very tempting....anyone tried?

Are they certified? dunno. I will ask the vendor.

Will grab one anyway and report back. I t time in Melbourne to start controlling temp in fridge.

I have one and have fermented two brews so far with it with no problems at all.

Only used the cold side so far though, but my current brew has the heat pad plugged in. Just in case the nights get cold enough for it to kick in.

I run a second thermometer along side it and there is occasionally a degree's difference between the two. But the second one is an Ebay special as we'll, so not sure if one or both are out or whether there is a difference in temperature inside the fridge where the sensors sit.

Cheers
Andy
