OK, so that's a total of 55 plus my 12 for a total of 67 taps.

I got a quote from the mob in USA for US $22.95 Plus $365 for shipping, for a grand total of US $1742. That's $2085 shipped or $35 each. GST will probably be an issue if they get stopped in Customs, so $38.50 each, plus shipping ($7 for most of you total)

I know that's more than I was planning on, but $365 for shipping is more than triple what I was expecting, and I'm trying to re-organise that.

Is everyone happy with a maximum of $39 per tap, plus shipping?

I am also waiting on a return phone call from the once place in AUS that sells them and we'll see what their price is.

Could be a little more than $39 per tap. Don't forget customs duty, which is 5% of the goods total (not incl. shipping). So thats

(22.95*67*1.05 + 365)*1.1 / 67 USD in AUD = 38.86 (I love it you can just type that expression before the equals sign into google and it magics it all up for you )

Take into account any exchange rate fluctuations and if you pay with a credit cart your bank will probably charge you an extra 2.5-5% for the currency conversion.

FWIW,

I bought 5 of these babys from the "the beer store guy" on EBAY.COM. very quick delivery, and very good price.

As for the taps... well lets say i didn't buy them soon enough!! sure they still pour beer but everything about them is sooo much better than the cheapos i had before.

Hope you can accommodate us latecomers.

Would it be possible to send the lot in two separate bulkpackages to two different recipients to remail out domestically once in oz? this may have three benefits 1) potentially avoid customs fees, 2) maybe save on postage costs 3) reduce the work, so one single person doesn't need to mail out everything individually.


I'm sure you're completely across it - and I defiantly don't want to complicate anything - just a suggestion.
