Hey all. Just getting into this home brewing caper of late. Got an old Cooper's home brew kit and an into brew #3.

First was a simple dark ale.. Pitched a bit warm but otherwise came out OK.
Next was an attempt at Cooper's recipe for a RIS. Still don't know what % that is.. Never got an original gravity..

3rd I'm doing what they called SMOTY Ale? Dunno what it stands for but it's a combo of dark and pale ale kits. I threw in 1kg of the brew enhancer #3 and the gimmicky little hydro I have couldn't tell me anything above 1.040.. so now we wait.
