100% munich ales are great, never mind the lovibond.
 
I'm planning an Oktoberfest this winter which will be 100% Munich and will be using Wyeast 2206.. I'm looking forward to it!!
 
Some german Altbier breweries use 100% munich, but a fairly light lovibond version, probably lighter than we can get our hands on.

I think standard Munich would be fine. At around 7degL, in a 23L batch using 6kg of Weyermann Munich I you ar looking at around 10degL. Even using Munich II you are looking at around 13degL. Both are below the style SRM for a munich dunkel.

The MCU - Malt colour units range between 15-22. Even still. within style range. :)
