When I was in Newcastle last I forced myself to go past the funny hipster decal on the tap and tried a couple. I'd rate it my favourite Murray's, sorry Whale Ale.

Currently planning a tribute with a simple Pilsner and a touch of crystal. As usual with Murrays I would need all NZ hops but only have NS.

Any thoughts on Citra to 35 IBU then flame out NS then vigorous dry hop with Citra or Galaxy?

I also have Simcoe and Columbus. I've milled the grain bill already and hope to squeeze this into the Grafton comp so any thoughts welcome.

Yeast San Diego Sup.

Howd this go bribie? Looking for a good copy.

Had it tonight and it doesn't have much malt backbone. 35 seems like high IBU? Is it pacifica Hops?

Went really well. I think was less bitter than expected but very quaffable at 4.5%
I used just a touch of Crystal 120 as it's the only crystal I have.

Murrays use nearly all NZ hops hence the Pacifica, but I think the US subs did the job nicely.

Excellent thanks Bribie!

What does san diego yeast bring to the table? Haven't used it before... Could it be subbed with something more easily obtained?
