I've got a Bavarian lager in one of my fermenters, when it's done I plan on dumping a biggish beer straight on top of the yeast cake.

I wouldn't mind something in a similar vein to winter ale, anyone tried a clone or have a recipe of something close?

cheers

So I've come up with this, comments/suggestions?

Traditional malt 69.5%
Light Munich 25.3%
Caramunich III 2.1%
Roast barley 1%
Melanoidin 1.1%
Acidulated 1%

Magnum to 22 IBUs

OG Target= 1.080

I'm also thinking of adding a bit of spice, maybe come cinnamon or nutmeg, but never done that before so don't know about quantity to use.

Will probably be ~ 25L batch

cheers
