both craftbrewer and mashmaster now charge $500 bucks for a f%^$&&&& mill??

WTF

now is your time Beerbelly and G&G to move in on the competition?

find a mill anywhere near as impressive as that one for less. if i didnt already had one id buy another, easy worth $500 for that beast.

homebrewing is about making great beer cheaply, what are these well established companies thinking by making this practice exclusive to home brewers with money to waste i dont know...

boycott them and get your grain milled for free by your local home brew supplier i say!

money grabbin bastards

p.s. how much beer would you need to produce to offset the investment of a mill offered by these leeches - look abroad.

Plenty of cheaper options around. No need to get all wound up ;)

ok Sammus, you sound like my best customer...come and by some good Kirin malt of me for $400 a kilo, Fwit

After all if you weren't in the business of making money you wouldn't be in buisiness at all.

have you re-couped the costs of the mill with the beer you made S?

As I have said in a previous post, I would not swap my millmaster for anything else. I had intended going O.S for a monstermill but thought for the extra $70 (my millmaster was $269 last year in May) I thought f**k it. But I do agree IMHO as the average brewer, I would now go O.S, $500 is a lot of moola.

Really, who am I to give a shit or anyone else, I've got what I need and if someone wants to throw that much at a mill, good on them. At the current price there should not be an issue of selling out of stock

BYB

Don't really think Ross or Frank are going to get into a pissing contest about the price either

 now go and complain to BMW or Mercedes that their vehicles are overpriced because you can get a datsun 120Y for $100.

You are talking out of your %&#@ mate, those mills are expensive, but they are a bloody awesome piece of kit, if you don't like it, go buy a cheap mill like a marga. The mashmaster mills will outlast several owners.

BYB now that i am working as an assistant brewer, it doesnt phase me either - more insperation for the local bloke to crush grain for free i say. Hope all is well anyway mate.

nothing wrong with the 180B or 120Y mate, independant rear suspension is a real crowd pleaser for that price mate!
