hmm don't show me that stuff bigd.
otherwise soon my whole system won't even need me to work.
randy can get us a plc so we can run the brewery like the 'wicked stone brewery' pc run system.
you wouldn't want to buy any of this stuff though.jeez its good to look at though. you could brew beer while sitting on the couch watching porn.

hey jayse as i gather bits and pieces to go all grain i come across things like the above which just makes me wonder where to start and where to stop.i gotta get back on track and start basic get the first 1/2 dozen or so brews under my belt and take it from there.
if i ever get my trip in to the states ill be in seventh heaven...harley shops and homebrew shops.just imagine the freight bill.
on another note those american micros are pushing the limits with ibus.....120 is the max ive found so far.

yep iam loving the total lack of following guidelines for these brews.
i have invented my own pale ale guidelines of 1.056-1.058 and 40 ibu.
so its no good for comps because it would have be judged as a i.p.a and would be judged agaisnt much higher gravity beers.anyway i don't make beers for comps i make it to drink.
if i was going over 120 ibu and 1.100 gravity though it really would be barley wine not i.p.a.

sorry i haven't got any new picks up of the shed, still haven't gone and got some batterys'
the cool room though you will love.

aahhh the coolroom you were building.i forgot all about it.
keep us posted jayse it sounds like it will be great.ipa heaven.now you can brew too the max and have some where to store that liquid gold.
look out summer

i could not possibly stop brewing over the summer months.
the idea actually at the moment is to shut down the two keg fridges and put all the i.p.a in the cool room at 8c and ferment ockotberfest and a dunkel(dark version of oktoberfest),bocks and dopple bocks etc in there aswell at the same time so my drinking beer and fermenting beer are all in the cool room.

what do you reckon sound like and cool idea?

youve won me over jayse.
next visit to adelaide i will have to look you up for a few beers if thats ok.reckon you will have enough stock on hand for a thirsty territorian.

look forward to the day when i can share a pint with the home brewing harley rider from the north.
