Hi all,

I have two brand new Crankenstein grain mills for sale.
The mills have never been used, and they come with home made base plates and
hopper plates.
Please see the pictures for more details.
The base plate is about 28 x 40 cm and of 19 mm thick solid pine.
The hopper plate and the side plates are also of solid pine.
The hopper plate has a hole drilled to let a standard size soda bottle screw in
securely.
Any kind of bottle with a standard soda top will fit for a hopper. I use a 2.25
litre soda bottle from woolies.
This hopper will hold over a kg of grains, dropping the grains directly at the
middle of the rollers.
Milling a kg of grains with a cordless drill on slow speed takes between 30-60
seconds.
Alternatively anything larger can be used for a hopper, like a bucket with a
hole in the bottom that you screw onto the hopper plate if you prefer not to
have to refill the hopper.
I cleaned out the rollers of my mill by wiping them with kitchen paper before
running a couple of KG of raw wheat through it to clean it before the first use.
As the mills are brand new the rollers are lightly oiled for protection so this
is probably a good idea before hitting it with some real grains.
I put the base plate over a bucket and crush into this bucket.
The mill is a Crankenstein grain mill. It is adjustable but after reading
through the instructions I believe I will never try to adjust mine as you need
to take the end plates off the rollers and change the orientation of the ball
bearings. The mill is set to factory standard 0.045" milling gap. The crush is
great after my limited experience.

Price is $170 per mill

The hopper and base plates are home made from solid pine, there is no warranty
involved other than that if anything is not exactly as promised send it back for
a full refund.
The actual CRANKENSTEIN mill has a lifetime warranty from CRANKENSTEIN in the
US, an information page from the manufacturer follows the mill as well as a
small tool to loosen the ball bearings if you want to adjust the mill gap.

Pick up from Nth Strathfield or I can post but you pay postage.

If they don't sell here then I will put them on e-bay.

Cheers Brendan
