this i feel is a simple to answer question, but i was just curious.
i've had some beers bottled since the start of april, just used 2 regular coopers carb drops in 750ml PET bottles and when i first cracked open the beer to drink it was quite carbonated and bubbly in the glass. not overly, just a standard decent bubbly affair. now however, the same brew seems to have lost its bubbles. it hasn't gone flat which i believe i can discern by taste and head etc, but the bubbles aren't there anymore.
is this normal after a certain period of time in the bottle? it's happened to more than one of them which is the only reason i ask. the beers were initially carbed at room temps ~20C for 2 weeks, then placed in my fridge which sits at about 5-6C i believe and have been there since mid april. purely asking for curiosity reasons really. still tastes great so i don't care. figured i'd ask here because my eyes are too tired for google searching.
