I'm sitting here drinking a Cantillon Kriek. This is truly beautiful beer.

Basically wondering if anyone has tried brewing a lambic in the style of cantillon, and what the results were?
 
I've got my first one in the fermenter at the moment.

Got my bugs from the bottom of a Cantillon Geuze.

The plan is to brew 50-60L each year and blend a geuze. Will report with findings in 3 years.
 
I fermented mine with the wyeast lambic blend, and then added dregs of various lambics.
One then had mixed berries added, and another figs.
Apart from the fact that I stuffed up the bottling I am very happy with both of them. Definitely lambic like, if fairly intense. Unfortunately they didn't carb up but I just give them a shot with the carbonator cap...
