Hi all,
I racked the beer below this morning and upon opening the fermenter lid there was thick large gooey bubbles about an inch thick covering the top of my beer.
Straight away I thought it was an infection, but after having a closer look/smell/taste it seems fine.
It almost looked like my yeast cake was at the top of my beer instead of the bottom.
Has anybody else had this happen?
Cheers in advance, Tribal.
1 can Coopers original lager
1.25kg be2
12g saaz steeped in 1 litre of boiling water, mashed around until the bag split open left for 15mins and threw the whole lot in.
