The band the beards mentioned above and their song about if your daddy hasn't got a beard, you've got two mums has been ripped off. There's a take of it saying (paraphrasing) if your boyfriend can't drive a manual, you've got a girlfriend.

This thread has inspired me to let it grow back out. Asked one of the girls at work what she thaught and she said she won't date a man without a beard... Not that it helps me as I'm happily married but it's good to know they are apreciated by the opposite sex... Just not MY wife.
