My kegs still have stickers on them. I don't care. Nice and clean on the inside.
Now have 15 kegs, so polishing them all would be a rather large job.
Got better things to do. If friends don't want my beer because the kegs have stickers on them that is fine with me.
Has never happened though :icon_cheers:

Cheers,

Surely that is no where near enough! :p

No, but it is a good start :icon_cheers:
Had 9 for years, but just got 6 more as we are going to
start making pilsners and storing them for awhile. Bought a new 510 lt chesty to
keep them in as well.

Really helps to have SWAMBO just as interested in brewing as I am.
Just buy what you like :icon_chickcheers:

i was thinking of grabbing a wire wheel on the grinder and giving them the brushed look,
was going to try this on my 50ltr kegs but i reckon it'd work on the corny's

I'm the opposite. I love brewing almost more than I love drinking beer, so i'm more than happy to have assistance getting through the stock.

Yeah to be honest so am I, I just thought I was being funny ^_^

Although it frustrates me when my brother digs into my beer without asking, and blows my favourite keg dry

i cleaned the outside of one keg then put it in the kegfridge and then thought...hmm that was a waste of time I dont even see it.. so now i just clean the inside and the tops...

less time cleaning = more time me doing...well......not cleaning...

We've got a bead blaster at work and many times i've considered taping up the ends of the kegs, throwing them in and giving them a good blast. Should bring em up nice and smick!

Just haven't got off my arse to do it yet!!

Don't use a wire wheel made of steel, which most of them are. The wire wheel will leave small particals of steel in the stainless and rust.

I gave them the quick razor and steel wool treatment...came up clean enough to pass the 2 metre test, so I'm happy with that...having party taps in the fridge means the guests (and me) see the kegs before each drink...
