Kegging Issue

Heya,

This is not a major issue but when I fill up a 19L corny keg with my brew, sometimes there is nothing left over to put into bottles and other times there is 5 bottles to fill up and other times 1 .. Now am I going crazy? There is nothing different about the litres of my brews.. they are always at the same mark.

I have asked a friend and he sometimes has it happen also and cannot explain it.

Different sized kegs? Even a few small dents can add up in less volume very quickly.

how about varying levels of trub and shit in the bottom of the fermenter?

hmmm no real dents on either of them, and also minimal sediment - I only ever have a few mm of sediment on the bottom
