Keg Priming Instead Of Forced Carbonating?

Instead of cutting the dip tube I read once that you should just bend it to the side so it's away from the sediment in the bottom, correct me if I'm wrong.

correct....a tube can always be straightened again, but can't be un-cut....
 
Exactly what I did today, my first keg using the priming method and SS to dispense.
Also bent the tube slightly so it's off the middle area.

Added the sugar, racked beer into it then sealed and pressurised and burped a couple of times to seal it up nice.
Now I have "keg fever" after doing this, tax return time this year might see a few new kegs and chest freezer me thinks... :)
 
or just dont do ether and its only the first pint thats cloudy as it sucks all the settled yeast up.
