Even if you have 2 x 2400 (10amp) elements, run them from different circuits, the laundry for one and maybe the bedroom for the other. Turn off one power circuit and what ever stays on is on the other. You can buy in line ELCB extention cords (not that cheap) to protect you further.
If you get keen, go for 3 phase and get 415v elements, thats industrial!
Or you could get a sparky in to run a 30 amp outlet. You need special plugs and leads though.
 
i have 2 of these elements mounted in a food grade bucket for my HLT.. It heated 24 litres of sparge water to 80 degrees in under 10 mins.

What was the starting temp of the water?
