On a link, I found a hangover prevention and cure page...very interesting. I knew most of it from experience and my sport-science course in highschool, but one suggestion was interesting...it was that Vitamin B is a somewhat effective cure, and can be had in the form of brewer's yeast dissolved in water before going to bed!

Kook has been known to chug a yeast starter as part of a hangover cure, maybe it works.

I have a recipe for a honey basil ale i have been thinking of making but am a bit nervous about using herbs in beer.

I have tons of fresh basil in the back yard, i use fresh herbs in all the food i cook but crossing them to beer has been dificult for me.

thinking i might have a go at it soon after reading this, wont be using tomato though. mmmmmmmmm that sounds icky to me

To help you through, Tony, just remember that hops are a herb. There is always coriander wheat beer. Also, if it goes wrong, give it to the inlaws....

It was the Latine that made me look into it. That and the fact that your English translation had a lot more nouns than the latin saying.

They're both good sayings anyway.
