Might be right. Its a bit small to fit a dead horse in even if it does smell like they tried. Mind you it is adelaide so could have been a body in there!
 
If it has had rotten meat in it, then it might take a while for the smell to go.

I would be spraying strong bleach into the corners and joints

Then follow with eucalyptus/tea tree spray

Wrong shape and colour,and not stamped ANZ.

Large enough to fit a jockey ......
 
Try to finish off with sugar soap.
Nothing wrong with a little vanilla smell.
