Hi all, new to the site but have been brewing for 15 plus years. No expert, still heaps to learn, but have produced some beers that beat store brought. A James Squire pale ale kit with a bit extra light dry malt(400 grams) and Hallertau(8 grams) / Amarillo(16 grams) hops worked the best so far. Mates seem to drop by more often when that is in the fridge..Now its time to get back to brewing some nice beers and with some new equipment i have it should be fun. Cheers Bottla PS Thanks mxd

welcome aboard, we don't discuss water purification on this site as it's not allowed in the country :)

Nice area up there, used to get up there almost every weekend when I had my last dirt bike!!

Sadly, that was a few years ago now... One day I'll get myself another XR or WR

Cheers

arrrh my other weakness---XR's. Have a few pre 85 200's and 250's i am rebuilding and 1 runner. Found it best not to mix the two hobbies. Checked your hops range and will be buying some soon. I am starting a bit of a hop garden-- got the location why not use it

Might have a few rhizomes in the next week or 3 depending on what you are after to grow… you can have some if you want them

You need 3 XRs if pre 85 as I recall, one to ride and 2 to strip for parts… lol
