Just wondering if anyone could tell me the best gap to have between the rollers to achieve a good crush to suit my biab set up as I am building my own grain mill. I'm thinking round 0.9mm any help would be good.

I use the default setting on my crankandstein, which is .045" or 1.14mm.

Make it adjustable. No-one can answer your question without knowing your roller diameter...

Was going to use same dia rollers on both and make it hand driven.

If you are only going to have a 30mm roller, which I've never seen a mill that small of a roller, then I think you would need somewhere 0.85mm to 0.9mm, maybe even down to 0.8mm?

Ok thanks the reason I'm using 30 mm rollers is that is what dia stainless we had at work hope it's ok.
