I was actually thinking grapes and plums??? Are there any concentrates @ the supermarket that I can get?

My partner can almost drink this beer, if I can wean on all beers me feels....

And it would save more $$$ for more HB equipment.

And also how does I prep the fruit for adding to the wort?

try a search on fruit or look at Ross' banana ale
gotta help yourself 1st ;)

Drew try this
1.7kg generic concentrate
1 kg CSR Extra Dark Sugar
400g Raspberries

Pulp the fruit in a blender, put it in a saucepan with about 4lts of water for a 15 min boil. Strain the extract into a very large saucepan. Add the concentrate, water & Extra Dark sugar and give it a quick boil. Dump it in the fermentor and add cold water to bring you up to around 13-15lts.
try using a DCL K-97 yeast and ferment around 26 degrees. Bottle it and wait 6-8 weeks.
Good luck
James
