I Have just rigged up a fridge with a digital thermostat, highly recomended :D :D . Enables control of heating and cooling to maintain precise control.

Only thing with minimum temp (5oC), I will be disconnecting the controler and using the fridge thermo to cold condition at 2o :chug:

$ very reasonable..

my craftbrewer fridgemate from was AU$ 47 and does cooling or heating (-40 to 70 C)

Good thing on yours is the resolution. Mine can't masure decimals.

One word: Tempmate.

Heating and cooling functions (automatically switches between) and has decimal precision. Minimum temp -45*C.

If you're trying to cold condition in a fermenter or other plastic vessel, you may have some issues with freezing if you try to use the fridge thermo at 2*C.

The new ATC-800+ goes down to -20 as well... FYI

seems a good price, I just ordered 2 frigemates, I think you the min temp is -5. so you won't need to do anything manually :)

for me, my (yet to be purchased) fermenting fridge will have the fridgemate at 22 (xx) and my submersable fermentation bottle heater will be set at 18 (xx - 4).
