Hey all, I have a damaged micromatic reg that is looking for a home/bin.
Parts may be useful to someone.

I damaged the internal surface where the bellows seats by gripping it with pliers while trying to undo a gauge.... Yes stupid, I know.
So, if anyone wants the remains to salvage for parts (I now have a keg king reg), they are welcome to it. All SHOULD be there except the red seal which fell apart after getting a bit beery...

Pick-up only, Heidelberg Vic.

Not so funny, just embarrassing.

Had removed my one way valve as it was leaking gas, stupidly re-connected my reg to the keg while keg was under pressure and reg wasn't.
Beer got into reg.
Not realising the significance, I left the reg un-cleaned for a while, it stopped working (seal shagged). Did some reading and decided to pull it apart, clean it and order a seal kit. While cleaning I couldn't get one of the gauges off, so gripped the body with some pliers and used a big spanner to try and turn the gauge. Turns out the gauge was threaded in the other direction.. I dented the lip where the bellows seats. Not terribly, but not willing to risk my gas/beer in case it won't seal anymore.
Have had a pretty bad run lately, Had a bunch of people over for my birthday on the weekend, had 2 fresh kegs of reasonable beer hooked up and was happily boasting to everyone about my brewing. I had somehow knocked the fridgemate probe out of the keezer the day before and my kegs were frozen :(
Spent ages defrosting them, then tried to re-carb, but they were too warm now
In frustration, I wasn't paying enough attention and knocked my gas bottle over. It fell with full weight on my new Keg King reg. Bent the cylinder pressure gauge.
All this while sober as a judge. I wasn't much fun to be around for the first couple hours of my birthday BBQ.

Give me another week and I will be laughing

If the gauges are still good I will hook you up with some cash if you can put them in a post bag and send them my way.

Hey Rurik, Was hoping not to bother with posting. As I am giving this away, the least effort I have to go to the better

Thats cool; I am not worried in the slightest.
