A reminder to all brewers in Far North Queensland.
The Home Brew Competition run in conjunction with the Yungaburra Folk Festival is on next weekend the 24th October. It is held at Nicks Restaurant, Yungaburra, and starts at 1pm.
Enter beers in categories described at http://www.yungaburrafolkfestival.org/participation.html then turn up and be entertained for a few hours.
The audience judge the beer, get entertained by musicians and poets and get some brewing tips from members of the local 'brew club' and of course drink a few beers. A few of us bring a bottle or two of our finest to continue the afternoon in a spare block across the road.
