SECTION 15 – HOME BREW

PLEASE KEEP ENTRIES TO EXTRACT KITS ONLY.
This competition will not accept ALL GRAIN beers or brews from FRESH WORT KITS
CLOSING DATE FOR ENTRY FORM - 4pm TUESDAY 24th September.
DELIVERY OF EXHIBITS: Exhibits will be accepted in the Office by Tuesday 24th September.
ENTRY FEES: $1.00 per entry - 2 bottles
PRIZEMONEY: 1st $10.00 2nd $5.00 (not including Best Homebrew Exhibit)
JUDGING: Thursday 26th September 2018
This section will carry 9 categories of home brew. 2 bottles minimum size 375ml will be required in each category. All bottles to be delivered to The Showgrounds office by 4.00pm Tuesday 24th September.
Remember: Extract brews only!
Home brew will be judged on the following:
Taste 20
Smell 10
Clarity 5 (Please specify if beer is an unfiltered beer)
Head 5
All bottles will be numbered for judging (by staff). All exhibitors exhibit at their own risk. Exhibits will remain on display until close of Pavilion on 28th September 2019

Class 15001 - Lager/New
Class 15002 - Draught
Class 15003 - Pale Ale
Class 15004 - Australian Pale Ale/American Pale Ale/India Pale Ale
Class 15005 - Dark/Old
Class 15006 - Stout
Class 15007 - Bitter
Class 15008 - Pilsner
Class 15009 - Any other (cider, ginger beer)
BEST HOMEBREW EXHIBIT - TROPHY
