I love Galaxy, with certain malts it gives a real Marmalade flavour aroma, great in IPA's. Don't want to put you off because brewing is all about learning, but IMO POR and Galaxy is a real "turn your ears backwards" type clash

Lets see what other think?

Cheers,

Looks quite good mate. I love galaxy hops, they will be the sole hop in my next creation. Malt bill looks pretty good aswell.

my only issue would be pride of ringwood up to the 40IBU... I would halve that and use a gentler bittering hop aswell, or galaxy instead.

Ahh. OK. Can swap the POR bittering for Galaxy to the same IBU then instead. Haven't mixed POR before either. Thanks. :icon_cheers:

I'd say drop the Prides and just turn it into an all Galaxy affair to really showcase it and familiarise yourself with it. You'd only need 30gm as your bittering addition to make around the same IBU too. And being high alpha it probably isn't a good candidate for no chill, just in case you are one of those people...

+1 For swapping out the POR. I would also double the 10 min and DH amounts.

Great hop and very similar the simcoe.

It would help if you added a description of what you want to make, what you want to achieve with this beer.

cheers

I won't help you but what is the charachter of Galaxy?
My hop sheet to old I.e 2002.
Any thing like styrian????

Just checked the and it seem like it a cross between perle and a female tetraploid.
What ever that is.
passion and citrus.

On that i'd add POR at 60 minute and let the galaxy flow. :)
