Hello all,
I've just completed my first winter coopers brew. I used:
1 can of European lager coopers
Real lager yeast
1 kg of coopers brew enhancer #1

The fermentation went well and took a little longer than normal because of the lower temperature.
The last reading I did was 1.015. This did not change for one week. All other signs of the end of the fermentation were there. I decided to bottle.
I used a mixture of coopers plastic PET bottles and sone other reused glass 330mls.
I used coopers carbonation drops the left the bottles covered for two weeks.

I tried a few last night and they were flat no gas :(

The pet bottles were very tightly closed and I don't think the gas could escape from there?

Any ideas what I did wrong as I want to start another batch.

Cheers,
Rob

what temperature is it there? It might be that the ambient temps are far too cold for carbonation. Also, what temp did you ferment your lager at?

As above, what temp are your keeping the bottles at? Too cold and the yeast will go to sleep and not eat the cab drops
