First BIAB, low OG, Why?

Mash temperature shouldn't affect OG, just that the OG will include varying proportions of fermentable / unfermentable sugars.

It is a bit to learn but you'll be amazed how quickly it all comes together. Once you've got 5 or 6 brews under your belt it will be like clockwork!

Not to say there isn't a lifetime of learning that's possible but you can make great beer without understanding all of the technical elements of brewing.
