Hi Guys,
this is the 3rd time i've harvested yeast so please be gentle..
anyway i harvested some LN Pale ale yeast and its ended up with a strong banana smell
but doesn't have a banana flavour just a nice fruity taste
will this give my pale ale im brewing tomorrow a strong banana flavour? im not a fan of the
wheat beer style..can put up with a bit of banana smell but not the taste.
starter i made was
600ml @ 1.060(a little high) and wacked into my fridge @ 18deg
