Hi,
Think i saw something similar to this on here somewhere, but as usual can't seem to find it now. So my question is, will this work as a false bottom? Anyone got a similar set up, any suggestions etc..
Thanks

Thanks for that Unrealous.
Why can't i ever find previous posts?
And why does everyone else's efforts look so much better than mine? <_<

I made this plate from hardened aluminium, 6 x 2mm drill bits (all snapped), and an angle-grinder. Underneath is a rubber ring - once the weight of the grain is upon it, it is solid and lets no unwanted grain through.

the one you have - the slits look a little big for my liking??? hard to see from just a photo. You should just hit bunnings and make yourself a "hand-crafted" version...very rewarding.
