Is it possible to put a ESB fresh wort amber ale into the fermenter, with no added extra's, bring up to 21Lt's, ferment, and end up with a really good, nice tasting beer, very simular to a JS amber ale, or have my taste bud's been put out of wack by drinking too much of said beer.
Only put it down as a quick keg filler, but boy o boy, it sure hits the spot.

PS the bar is finally up and running, or should that be up and pouring.

Yep, they are great just how they are need to try the whole lot of them out.

It might be a tad 'light'...from memory the fresh wort kits are around the OG 1050 mark at the 15lt.

But take a sample and double check the SG. Adding another 6lt will thin it.

thats how easy they are normell just dump and pitch.
i usally fill to the 20l mark and they always turn out great ,there is no better quick keg fillers than the fresh wort kits.....

I've done 2 APAs and filled to the 18L mark. I found the first lacked the hop aroma/flavour required of a great APA so added a nice amount to the second kit - 3L of top up water and 3L of wort boiled with 40g cascade pellets split between 10 mins and flameout. WY1272.
