Hi Beer Baron, I was wondering if I could pick your brains about a wort chiller idea that I have...
Basically I'm sick of my plate chiller as it is a pain to clean and doesn't chill as quickly as I'd like. My thought is to run the wort through say a 3/8" s/s or copper tube that is run up the inside of another tube of say around 1/2" and use an old fridge compressor to run gas in the gap between the two tubes thereby cooling the wort running in the inner tube.
Thoughts, ideas, tricks, sizes / dimensions required, opinions are appreciated.
Cheers, Az.
Ps - not sure if this discussion is in the correct place - maybe in gear and equipment or similar?
