From memory, the walls are about 1.5mm maybe 2mm thick. Base is the same as far as I can tell. A fairly solid kettle, not like the cheap 10L stockpots.
Quite a heavy kettle, alot heavier than a keg. No idea about the grade of stainless, but the handles appear to be steel, as one of mine has a bit of rust on it.

Have to call BS on his pricing though. each corny @ $120 - not that i've ever seen. Gas bottle 250 to 300 + Reg ~120 does not equal 600 bones. kooking at the taps, i dont think they were new, and my ss perlicks were less than a third of what he's trying on. I'm not even going to go into the fittings... but hey, there's a sucker born every minute i guess.

note to self: watch what this goes for, ther may be a business opportunity exploiting the ignorant.

Hi Smart arse.
My kegs are fully refurbished kegs, yours are 2nd hand. The push on fittings are Sang-A & Camozzy fittings, so get your facts straight before you criticize others OK.

maybe ill list my kegs on evilbay as being refurbished and see if anyone is dumb enough to pay $120 each

yup pretty much my thoughts. i was going to reply to him and risk another warning off ebay (yeah like i care what ebay thinks of me), but decided that it wasnt worth it. ive done my stirring and am happy.

Yeah, having dealt with this guy before, he's not very helpful at all. Your best bet might be to find someone who lives nearby to pick it up for you and organise a courier.

I emailed him if to ask pot came with a lid (it doesn't) about 4 days before the last auction - no reply.
I arranged a pickup time - he was late by an hour (so missed it)
Arranged another pickup time - my sister was late by 10 mins and he had a bit of a go at her.

That's why I though to offer myself to arrange a courier to pick it up, so it's no different from me personally going there to pick it up. Just COD would become Paypal.
