Those pots are actually pretty good quality. I picked one up from the guy coz live near me and got it a bit cheaper. He has a Gumtree page too and think the prices may be a bit different.
They are pretty solod and have a thick base too.

Havnt actually used it yet. Getting the other parts together. There was a member on here in St Albans Vic not long ago who sold 2 who said they where ok. Cant remember the person. On my phone but ill look it up later

A bit late sorry mb but i took some close up pics
The base is about 10mm. Not too shabby. You can see the joins but they are pretty smooth. No discernable edges. The handles look pretty sturdy but who would really try and move 50-98lt of water.

I have a full SS element and housing from brewhrdware ( half 2nd hand half new) and im waithing for all tje ss part to put a tap together. It will be a deluxe biab kettle (or other).

After really liking the new Coopers DIY fermenters, I wanted a second. Had a quick look on gumtree and found one. Close to me. $60 and they ended up giving me a Coopers Craft Brew kit too. Both unopened but best before dates are just past. All good, I'll use the malt in an experimental brew with fresh yeast.

Brewing gear in Brisbane, which apparently contains:

2x Rubbermaid mash tuns with false bottoms (at least one has a thermowell, can't see if both do from the pictures)
3x stainless steel fermenters (they look like the MJ ones)
1x 40L urn + copper immersion chiller
2x kegs + 1x keg cooling jacket
1x CO2 cylinder with regulator
1x beer filter
1x temperature controlled fermenting fridge (can't see a picture?)
+ Bunch of extras

$1600 -- reckon it's easily over 2k worth of gear (brand new), potentially a lot more depending on the fridge + unlisted extras.

Kmart have 2l erlenmeyer flasks for $5 not pyrex obviously but still good for starters
