I currently use one and it does the job, just takes a while and adds time to your brew day.
Takes me about 20 - 30 mins for 5kg grain.
If you're worried about ending up with one arm like Popeye, just use the arm that Mrs. Palmer doesn't use and it should balance them out.
came across these

apparently you can use them to re-fill bitburger 5L mini kegs. pretty good for party's ... or Sunday
anyone seen them before or know anything about them?
cheers

Very cool!! Would assume it would work with the Heineken ones too

what kind of coupler would you need for these?
fukken. they're $60 from keg king, $40 for a dodgey looking one from mybeershop.an s-type, apparently http://www.micromatic.com/draft-keg-beer/k...tter=a#couplers
haha, I was just thinking that. I drive past the Orient hotel occasionally during the week and they often have a 1 or 2 dozen cornies just sitting out on the footpath...More importantly - how do they acquire it.
The pub sort of over the road from me has their kegs out in the street, including those same Asahi 19L kegs.
My guess? nicked.
