So I was chatting to a mate of mine recently, and was boasting that I could clone any just about any micro-brew he could throw at me... So he put out a challenge: The Dogfish head & Epic brewery collaboration Portamarillo. Ouch. That's a tough one.
From what I remember from drinking it, it was very smokey, warm on the nose, hoppy, roasty, yet quite thin and a bit sweet.

INGREDIENTS
Malt - Pale Ale, Crystal, Chocolate, Black, Roast Barley
Hops - NZ Southern Cross
Fruit - NZ Tamarillo
Smoke - Pohutukawa wood
Alc/Vol - 7.0%
IBU - 50
Style - Smoke Tamarillo Porter
500ml bottle - 2.8 standard drinks
FLAVOURS & AROMAS
Smoke
Chocolate
Coffee
Sweet fruit (Tamarillo)
So the question is: Can it be cloned?
