Just tried their beers for the first time and they have just become my favourite Tassie beers so far . I really enjoyed their Pils with Enigma hops. I know tastes vary but very nice in my opinion.

A beer/ brewery I planned on checking out when I was in Tassie last month but didn't get around to .
I blame Fents and Manticle for it.

Yep. I'd paddle across Bass Straight in an improvised canoe to get my hands on their smoky moll porter or rye IPA.
So if you see an idiot being winched into Westpac chopper just outside Sydney Heads from a capsized bathtub around the 28 of December you can say, hey, thats that ******** off the forum!

If you can get hold of some well worth a try. I have not heard a lot about them (anything really) but was very impressed with what I tried. Compared to some of the other Tassie breweries that seem to get talked about frequently I think they deserve to be right up there.
But then my taste could be in my arse if others do not rate their beers. HAHAHA!

I tasted as many local beers at that festival as social grace would permit. Without mentioning any names, just happening to me a Tasmanian micro only means you have a brewery in a lovely part of the country, not that you automatically produce fantastic beer.

Was actually more like 'name', not names. Time permitting I'll be back again this year. Its one of my bestest things to do.

Yeah I guess that is true but to be honest it is all very new here. a few may be exceptions. But it can only get better, I hope it does. There are more and more popping up and that can only be good in my opinion.
The whole HB thing is really taking off .

As much as I liked the taste it is getting very over priced for value , in my opinion, Compared to dark MOFO and not show casing anything that much ,bar a few, that you can not get every day as fast food in Hobart.
Which to me is not what it should all be about.

In saying that though that it is just my opinion and seeing it from outside your opinion my be very different .
Also not saying it is bad just think it has room for a lot of improvement. Value for money wise though I have found dark MOFO much better.

Back to beer though I am really enjoying a SMaSH beer by a certain brewery.
