Well for me it was the day someone pointed out a yeast that could chew through 4k of fermentables and still make a very nice beer! :beerbang:

(Actually I got that info from grumpies, but I cant log on to their new website)

I reckon Frankos artistry (which appears on a great number of signatures) shold rate a mention.

Don't know how long ahb has been around...
But I think the general information has improved ten fold last couple of months. :super:
Maybe Ross' straight to the point approach and Pistol patchs round the twist and back again approach has got something to do with it. Everyone else has been great too,
even Budweiser and VB drinkers and alike.

"Beer is Beer, some beer is just better then others..."

For me it was Grumpys in mid 04 when I found it by accident ,bought the gear to do a few of thier master brews etc , their forum pointed me to this site where I lurked for awhile before making the jump to AHB.
It's been a HUGH learning curve from that point on.
My early posts if I was to read them would be very embarrassing. I would not be alone, all those neubie questions.

The discovery of the NASA burner (this thread).
I love the early comments from the longer standing members of they as they 'experience the power'.
Worth the read :)
Cheers

What about the "Ross Method" of forced carbonation? It has reduced the time between grain & brain for many happy keggers! ;-)

The other one I reckon needs an honourable mention is that fire exinguisher CO2 is food grade. Thanks for that one.
