My son is in kindergarten, and has returned to school this week, his little body hasn't a-tuned to the time change. I note NSW school holidays are timed so this is the middle of the school holidays.

Victoria I think has missed a trick here.

Totally agree! It's thrown the my two kids right out. And the eldest suffers a bit because if he doesn't fall asleep straight away, he starts to panic and then tries to fight to go to sleep and doesn't. So we have had to tell him that it will take a while and really he wouldn't be going to be for an hour so it's fine if he takes a bit longer.

Apart from that I love daylight savings, I actually get to see what my property looks like when I get home instead of it being dark everynight I get home for 6 months.

i like ds it means i can come home after work and go fishing play golf do a mash/boil or just relax and have a few beers all b4 dark and just do it all the next day.
i will admit i think it goes a month too long it was a hard start this morning starting @ 630 but it will get better sooner than later

The first week is hardest...then its game on

Interestingly, my boss recently got back from Sweden, if you think daylight savings ***** with your head, wait till you go somewhere thats daylight for 20hrs a day

I spent almost a month in northern Norway during the Christmas season, dark 24 hrs a day ! talk about being stuffed up.
-35 degrees then land in Adelaide at 6am and its 30 degrees faaaark.

Yeah but, I couldn't think straight up there with all those beautiful scandiwomen. Even 3 days later the dls change made my brewday chores finish an hour later. I did my best but it lagged out to "real" time.

I'm not sure how I feel about daylight savings... as a kid I ****** hated it when they did the trial up here, having to go to bed when the sun was still up. Now though, dunno, probably be nice to sit out on the deck drinking beers with the sun going down an "hour later" than usual.

But then again I could just start drinking earlier

An extra hour after work to get home and do more work in the soon to be blazing heat. Whats not to like?

Steal cap boots off, feet up under the shed verandah with a beer maybe water the veggies if I can be arsed, looking forward to summer evenings.

I'm sure the real reason some Queenslanders don't want daylight savings, is because they don't want the sun shining in while they're watching TV in the evening.

Some are afraid of change.

There will also be some who don't know how to adjust their clocks.

My phone, computer and car clock adjusted themselves - AUTOMATICALLY - its like magic.
I tell you, what an age to be alive.

I suspect sorcery is afoot. Ready the ducking stool and pillory!

I always look forward to DS.

Get home after work and the sun is still up, take the bearded hounds for a run along the river, then come home and cook something on the BBQ with a few beers. Rinse and repeat.
