Sorry Dane, I know you would be a bit busy at the moment :p , but any progress on the AHB glasses yet.
A local printing mate reckons that the new machine he has would be able to print onto glass :D , and he's getting a price for me.
After the caps & holders, I don't want to get into another "Bulk Buy", but if I have to I will

Norm,

As much as we are all keen for AHB gear, the new logo hasn't even been finalised yet - Franko is still working on it - so I think any talk of any AHB gear at the moment is a little previous...

Cheers Ross

Hi Ross
Was thinking of the "old" nostalgic caps & holders style

Yep as Ross said - until the branding has been finalised there isn't much point in looking at orders/quantities just yet.

I know everyone is keen to order some but it would be silly to do anything before I have that logo finalised.

The current one is coming along, however as people have mentioned the mix of the artwork and vectore drawing isn't really working. Not to mention that it's, at the moment, probably too complicated to have put onto a glass or use for emroidery.

But don't worry - as soon as it's finalised there will be stuff to buy :)

That's where the current logo doesn't particularly work IMO.

It's hard not to laugh at the concept of a glass being screen printed onto a glass. Bit like looking at a mirror in a mirror.

Sorry guys I just reckon the new logo's a touch lame. :(

I think the person who said it was a glass of cabbage beer in front of some cabbages was going a bit too far

Its not that bad .

Pumpy :)

Simplistically speaking it's what we refer to in the industry as "busy". Too much goin' on in such a small space.

Here's a test, reduce it down to about postage stamp size and print it. You'll know what I mean.

Yes the issues with the logo are known.

Contrasting graphic styles, too busy, text to small etc.

Nothing will be happening with the glasses or any merchandise until this one is reworked or a different one is put in place and everyone is happy with.

You could remove the glass and add in some some ficticious superhero style characters named 'Snap, Crackle and Hop'

I still think the old original was best and if it weren't broke.... why try and fix it.

I have to add my voice to this - Loved the old logo & would look great on all sorts of merchandise...

As per Dane's pervious post, no glasses until the logo is finished.

Beers,
Doc

Im still here guys had to give the old brain a bit of a rest ,will have some new stuff really soon

I think the old logo would look much better on merchandise and is much more suitable for screen printing.

My sister works for a company that specialises in screening onto glass and ceramics. She does the layout work so would be able to advise on this and get mates'-rates. Not to put a downer on normell and his mate - but it does pay to shop around.

PS This is an excellent site and even as a newbie I would be keen on AHB glasses.

So Franko, Dane,
any progress with the logo design for the beer glasses yet, or has it all been put into the "too hard basket".
Would be good if I could get some before christmas

Keep your fingers crossed Normell.Mine are

Cheers
