Hi everyone,

Anybody got an idea as to how I can formulate a beer similar to this. Not after exact but in the ballpark. I'm not fussed about the oak maturing bit but if I can get a beer similar to it, I'll be saving a lot of money!

2012 & 2013 used wet Galaxy hops
I'd say you'll need some oaking, I'd use oak staves, some toasted and some untoasted
Lots of crystal malt, it's a very sweet caramelly beer
You'll need to do an extract beer at the very least, you'll get no where near it with a kit, I'd think

Thanks mate. Mmmm a very sweet beer, must admit I've never tried one, just wanted to know the basic of it. So they use galaxy from what I see on the website. Ok lots of caramel sounds great.

Btw I'm not a kit brewer - brewed all grain over 12 years
