Hi everyone.
While ordering a Saison DuPont to share at Beer DeLuxe this afternoon I noticed that they have both Crouch Vale Amarillo and Darkstar Espresso in bottle! Pretty sure they are new addition, although i don't frequent that place often. Fairly popular brews in the UK, mainly on cask, so no doubt worth a try for some. I had to try both, but unfortunately both were $15 a pop (500ml). The amarillo was a little sweet, and the espresso a little thin for my tastes, but the aroma of both were great.
I am usually disappointed with most british micro's bottled ales - most contracted out their bottling, and are not bottle conditioned which is surprising. Local brewer's offerings are probably better, but this is as close as i'll get to the british ale i love so i was pretty excited .....
Good brewing!
