Have done alot of searching on cleaning glassware, and most opinions say to avoid using soap.

Recommendations are for just hot water and air drying. Others say baking soda.

Are there any special tricks or tips forum members have on the subject ???

This was a major thread a few months ago ---pages of differing information.

Do a search .

I only use baking soda to initally clean the glasses. Just a rinse under water is all mine gets.

Baking soda works. Hot water rinsing works. Rinsing with vinegar (folllowed by rinsing in water) works. pink stain ( Chlorinated trisodium phosphate) works. lots of things work well on glassware.

Everyone has a preferred method, and none of them are right or wrong per se. Anything that doesn't leave a residue is fine.

I just rinse out a few times with hot tap water and let drip dry.
